One of the problems with accessing FTP folders through Windows XP and Vista is that you cannot copy/cut and past from one FTP folder to another within the same site. I found a great way around this by using Novell's NetDrive utility.
Once installed NetDrive will allow you to configure an FTP site as a mapped Windows drive and will then allow you to copy, cut and past files and folders within the FTP site.
